Tried everything but a bios update. I'm a little hesitant to do that as i know what kind of damage it can do if not done correctly.

Download the latest drivers for your FaderPort to keep your Computer up-to-date. Apr 22, 2012 - 46 sec - Uploaded by Jamal MortimerHow to make motorized fader work on presonus faderport. Link: pc: mediafire.

Does anyone know where i can find an older driver or something that is not part of an installer? The download available from presonus only has some.dll files for sonar and cubase and the firmware updater which i've already applied via the laptop. I think its just that it cannot see the driver on my desktop for some reason. On my system, Windows 7 x64, it shows up in device manager under 'Sound, Video, Game Controllers' and if I right click and select 'Properties' the driver listed is 'Generic USB Audio' and is Microsoft driver date driver version 6.1.7601.17514 Did you update the firmware with files from the web and follow the procedure EXACTLY?

When they say disconnect ALL OTHER USB DEVICES, they are not kidding. It can screw up if you don't. Activate Dicom Editing Osirix Viewer. Don't use the CD that comes with it.

Get the files off the web. For Sonar, after you copy the DLL file to the correct directory, you have to run a command to register the dll. Look here: It works on all my other software, Cubase, Presonus, Reaper etc. Sonar was the oddball.

Faderport shows up under 'other devices' on my desktop. I installed the firmware update from my laptop with no other devices attached. On my laptop it shows up in Sound, video, and game controllers with driver version 6.1.7600.16385 from 7/13/2009 and works great. I am not using sonar, but on my laptop, reaper detected it right away.

Not sure where to look for the driver you are using successfully. According to presonus, i should not need to install any additional drivers. That is correct. The driver is included with Microsoft. I was talking about the install/dll programs included with the CD. The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes Keygen Crack Codes.

They are outdated most likely. Get them from the website instead. I have various faderport.dll files on my hdisk. I would remove the device from device manager, power down the system, unplug the cable from the system, boot up once and then shutdown again just to sync things up. Then,,,,,power up the system and plug in the faderport and see if Windows now recognizes it properly. I have uninstalled, shut down, re-started, plugged it back in several times but it still states that it cannot find drivers.

Keeps showing back up in 'other devices'. Tried installing the new drivers from the presonus site several times too. But all that seems to want to do is update the firmware (which i've done already) and creates a Presonus folder with.dll files for sonar and cubase. Also i ran revo uninstaller and rebooted, shut down, reboot again and plugged in the faderport to see if it shows up in the right place. Still shows up in 'other devices'. Also, thanks for bearing with me.

I can usually figure this stuff out by myself, but right now i'm lost. Just posting to let anyone know that i solved this issue by using 'update drivers' from device manager and searching entire C drive. Had almost given up but remembered i had the same problem with a nanokey that was supposed to automatically find generic drivers and was unable to.

Did a search and found a post from koolkeys over at kvr.com saying he solved his problem by searching entire C Drive for the missing drivers. Tried searching in windows/system32/drivers several times but that did not work. So special thanks to koolkeys for helping out with this, even if it was by accident hopefully, somewhere down the road, some poor bastard who is having this same problem and is frantically searching the internet while on hold with tech support sees this and.
